Statement of Faith

We Believe

1. That the Bible is the inspired word of God. 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:21.

2. In One True and Living God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Deut. 6:4; Mk. 12:29; Matt. 28:19

3. That through the fall of the first man, Adam, all have sinned and are in need of a saviour. Gen. 3:1-24; Rom. 3:23; 5:12-21; 1 Cor. 15:22

4. In the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ - His virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Miraculous Ministry, Atoning Death, Bodily resurrection, Triumphant Ascension, Abiding Intercession, and His Imminent Return as King and Judge of all mankind. 6. That the true Church consists of all persons who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made new creatures in Christ Jesus. 1 Cor. 6:19,20; Eph. 1:22-23; 2:22; Heb. 12:23

7. That the water baptism and the Lord's supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church. Matt. 28:19; Jn. 3:23; Acts 2:38,39, 10:47,48; Lk. 22:14-20; 1 Cor. 11:20-34.

8. In the deity and power of the Holy Spirit to convict men and women of sin and empower believers for godly living and service. Jn. 16:7,8; Acts 1:8; 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:6; Rom. 12:6-8; 1 Cor 12:1-11; Gal 5:22,23; Eph. 4:11-13.

9. In the bodily resurrection and the return of Jesus Christ, and the judgement of all mankind according to how they have lived their lives on earth. Dan. 12:2-3; Matt. 25:46; Jn. 5:28-29; 1 Cor. 15:22-24; Phil. 3:20-21; 2 Thes. 1:5-10; Tit. 2:13; Rev. 20:10-15.

10. In the urgency of the Great Commission as a compulsory duty for every believer to reach out with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Lk. 24:46-49; Jn. 20:21; Acts 1:8.
